Zonguldak Mining Museum is the first coal mining museum in Turkey. The museum gives information about the Zonguldak's most important income source since 1840, hard coal mining. On the ground floor of the museum, visitors can observe the process of mining. The second ground teaches about the history of the mining, explained by historical documents provided by the Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises, which is a state-owned enterprise. On the third floor, visitors will learn more about the mining history with materials such as coal fossils, digital simulations, maps, pictures, and films. In 2020, the museum is entry free and has no parking problem.
